Repaint, remake and reuse
Re-using old items by painting & giving them a new life is an important part of my design philosophy and in most houses I find pieces of furniture to renew. It's a good way to save money to the homeowners and fun to do.
Sometimes I renew things for myself...

A console table and a chair
I found the console table in an old warehouse, dusty but in a good condition, with only one drawer front missing. The console table dated late 1960's early 1970's is made of wood with a formica on top got a complete new life with the most vibrant colours that took it to a totaly different direction.
The chair is inspired by the scandinavian design that was popular at the time, was found in the same place and got a similar treatment.

Small wall-mounted cabinet
Originally painted in a very dark brown, this small cabinet looked dated and unloved. I painted and distressed it for a shabbi-chic look, and now it's hanging in the house and stores mugs and small jars.
A baby's chest of drawers
An old Chest of drawers that re-painted to inject vibrant colours to a todler's room.
Plain side table upgraded with washi tape
White tables, plain and inexpensive, bought from Ikea and to up-lift them I went wild with colourful washi tapes.
