Located in Kibbutz Hanita, in the north of Israel, the house is a new build (2012), positioned on the top of a hill facing south-west with a panoramic view of the Western Galilee, the mediterranean and Haifa.
The family has four daughters, ranging in age from 19 to 3. The house has 2 stories, in total 220 sq. meter, built on a 500 sq. meter plot.
The architectural concept was inspired by Middle-Eastern/Islamic architecture with straight lines, orthogonal shapes, inner patio, a water feature and lot of natural light flooding through many windows. The patio garden and the outside view are an inseparable part of the house. The interior layout is an open space, with eclectic design of country with touches of modern, retro and ethnic decoration.
